So you want to obtain the rarest items in world of warcraft but don’t have the time to do an endless amount of raid/dungeon runs or maybe you want to get your hands on those items removed from their original drop source? Well if that’s the case then The Black Auction House is the place for you.

So what exactly is ‘The black auction house’?
BMHA is a special auction house that offers rare and in some cases unobtainable items. What’s different between bmah and the normal auctions house is that bmah only offers a set amount of items and the items are not put up by actual players.

How does it work?

Every item that gets posted on the black auction house will have a duration of around 20 hours. Around 12-2 am server time a new set of items randomized from the item pool that will be displayed below. All items posted will differ in length but will usually end around 7-9pm.

When items time are displayed as short there’s less than 30 min left on the auction. People can extend the auction’s duration by bidding in the last 30 minutes every bid will prolong the auction by 5 minutes.

TCG Mounts

What’s cool with TCG mounts on bmah is that you can often if you’re lucky(and if you’re on the right realm) get your hands on a tcg mount for waaaay cheaper than what you could either on normal auction house or on for example ebay…

Unobtainable Mounts

If you’re looking to get your hands on one of these mounts through the bmah you should be expecting to pay millions of gold and sometimes even gold cap might be required. The Swift Zulian tiger is one of if not THE most wanted mount in world of warcraft and because of its reputation, looks and unobtainable status it wont come cheap.

Dungen Drop Mounts

These mounts pop up pretty often on the black auction house and won’t cost you a fortune, I the writer of this article for example got my hands on the swift white hawkstrider for only 30k on a low pop server.

Do you hate to do you weekly raid mount runs? well then this list might make you happy, pretty much all raid mounts can be found on the black auction house and after every expansion new ones get added.

Now mounts isn’t the only valuable things being sold on the bmah, amongst other things tcg pets are extremely profitable to buy especially since they can be sniped from low population servers and easily transferred to higher population once transferred they can be sold on the normal auction house.

Keep in mind all tcg pets cant be resold.

TCG Tabards

Not tradable but very sought after, these tabards are all extremely rare and vary in costs, for example, Tabard of Frost would cost you $5000 if you wanted the card but if you’re lucky you can get it for as low as 700-1m gold on a low pop server. Tier 3 / Naxxramas sets

The starting bids for these classic Naxxramas items are 10k gold but don’t expect the main pieces to sell below 1-2 million gold and keep in mind that is only for 1 item. Shoulders and helmets will always go for the most. belts, gloves, and boots can be snagged for anywhere between 80k-300k again depending on the set. The two plate sets are the most sought after and the mail is the cheapest.

The original Naxxramas sets were class specific but whats special with the ones that sell on the black auction house is that the class specification is removed so it doesn’t matter what class you are you can use them all (as long as you use the right material ie cloth, plate etc…)

Rare Unobtainable Weapons (Guitar Axe)

The two following items are quite unique, the Arcanite Ripper & Sun-Lute of the Phoenix King are both axes with on-use effects that cause the user to bust out in a guitar solo. These two items are the pinnacle of collector items and are extremely rare to come by. Most player hasn’t even seen them in game.
